Types of Exceptions

• Missing Registration - There are an odd number of punches on an employee's timecard.
• Arrived Early - An employee punched in earlier than the start time of an assigned shift.
• Arrived Late - An employee punched in after the start time of an assigned shift.
• Left Early - An employee punched out before the end time of an assigned shift.
• Left Late - An employee punched out after the end time of an assigned shift.
• Long Break - An employee was clocked out longer than the set length for an assigned break.
• Missed In - An employee missed an IN punch on their timecard.
• Missed Break - An employee either missed punching for an assigned break or their punches do not meet the break rules.
• Missed Break Out - An employee punches for an assigned break too early.
• Missed Break In - An employee punches back in from an assigned break too late.
• Off Exception - An employee has punches on a day designated as an OFF day.
• Out of Shift - An employee punches IN for the first time on a day after their assigned shift's end time.
